The Story of Portal By: Jade Siemsen

Portal is a sci-fi/ puzzle games made by Valve. It is about you trying to escape from a futuristic testing facility, called Aperture Laboratories. Today, I'll be talking about the story of what happened to all of the workers, and how GLaDOS took control.

Aperture Laboratories was made in 1947 by a man named Cave Johnson. He had first made shower curtains for the army, but later on made the Heimlich counter maneuver, then the "Take a Wish Foundation", and finally the Portal Project. He was soon going to die, so he had his assistant be put into a robot.

Then on the first "Bring Your Daughter to Work Day, the scientists started up GLaDOS. Then, she locked up the room where the scientists were, and released neurotoxin, killing everyone in that room. After that, she took over the facility, and made almost everyone do tests over and over again.

Finally, there was only one person left. Her name is Chell. She, gets a portal gun, and starts those tests. In the end, Chell beats GLaDOS, and the facility explodes. As you lay down, you are then dragged away, and that's he end.

I find this game funny and interesting. I think that you should play this game if you get the chance on Microsift Windows, PlayStation 3, and the Xbox 360. Thanks for reading, and remember: The cake is a lie!
