My favorite baseball team is the St. Louis Cardinals. The Cardinals started off great this season. Even though they lost their first series of this season to the Brewers the went on a big streak when the started their series against the Pirates. This streak caused them to be in first in the NL Central for a while. But, when the Cardinals started their series against the Cubs, this streak ended. The first game of the Series the Cardinals lost 4-0. Then, the second games was a close game but the Cardinals fell short with a final score of 6-5. The last game of the series the Cubs blew the Cardinals out of the water with a 13-5 win. This series sweep by the Cubs lead them to first place and put the Cardinals in second. Ever since this big loss, the Cardinals have been off and on with their games. But, the Cardinals have lost their last three games in their series against the Pirates and are currently in fourth place. Hopefully the Cardinals will start another big streak to get back on top.
