The Playstation is one of the most popular gaming consoles; if not the most popular gaming console of all time. I'm going to tell you about the history of all 4 Playstations. The first Playstation was released on December 3,1994. It was very different when it was released compared to other popular consoles at the time like Nintendo and Sega. It had came in discs, where with others before used cartridge slots. It also brought the new age of 3d games where Sega and Nintendo used 2d graphics. One of the first popular games for the Ps1 was Crash Bandicoot. The Ps2 was released on March 4,2000. That was one of the first consoles to feature mostly 3d games. Games that were popular like Gta, Tekken, and sports games like the NBA 2k series, and the popular NFL Madden series ruled the Ps2. Ps2´s were so popular, they were still getting made and sold during when the Ps4 was being released in 2013! Then on November 11,2006 the Ps3 was released. Ps3 had over 80 million sales. Some of its most popular games included Call of Duty Modern Warfare 1,2, and 3. Gta IV, Metal Gear Solid, Uncharted, and Red Dead Redemption. The Ps4 was released on November 15,2013. Ps4 sales have skyrocketed through the roof at over 100 million sales. Some of its most popular games include Gta V, Red Dead Redemption 2, Pubg , and of course Fortnite. The Playstation will continue as one of the most famous video game consoles of all time, along with Xbox.
