By: Brett Clyne

On Sunday, January 13, 2019 the Super Bowl LII champions, the Philadelphia Eagles played against the New Orleans Saints. The Saints are 13-3, so far in the season. On the other hand, the Philadelphia Eagles record for the season so far is 9-7. In the first quarter the Eagles were able to put 14 points, on the board. While, the Saints were shut down the first quarter. In the second quarter, the Saints finally were able to put 10 points on the board and stop the Eagles offense. At the end of halftime the score was 14-10, with the Eagles in the lead. At the start of the second half, third quarter, the Saints were able to put 7 more points on the board giving them the lead, the score being 17-14. In the fourth and final quarter, the Saints were only able to put 3 points on the board. Making the game 20-14 in the Saints favor, meaning that for the Eagles to win they need a touchdown and P.A.T attempt (a chance to get an extra point if the teams kicker makes it inside the poles, much like a field goal.) Unfortunately, for the Eagles they were not able to score, ending the game with a final score of 20-14 and the victors being the New Orleans Saints. In order for the Saints to make it to the Super Bowl they must beat the Los Angeles Rams.
