Conspiracy theories are becoming more popular each day. People are questioning strange occurrences and coincidences. I will be informing you on two of the most popular presidental conspiracy theories. These two theories include the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, and President Lincoln and Kennedy being very alike.
Kennedy's Assassination
The assassination of America's 35th president remains one of the biggest mysteries. Even though government officials arrested Lee Harvey Oswald for committing the murder. People still question who really did it. Because Oswald was killed before his trial, we may never know if Lee really did it. One of the most accused theories is that the government had planned it. Seeing how documents on his murder are still not released. Some people believe that Lyndon B. Johnson planned it. Because he wanted to be president and did not like what Kennedy was doing. But the most highly accused is the Cuban government. They were still mad at the failed Bay of Pigs invasion, that the CIA had planned. These are just some of theories people have about JFK's assassination.
Lincoln & Kennedy Similarities
For centuries people have thought it was very coincidental that the two presidents are very much alike. Which includes, they were elected a hundred years apart, both's vice-presidents last name was Johnson. Also both vice-presidents were born one-hundred years apart, both assassinators were born a hundred years apart. But the most interesting facts are that Lincoln's secretary named Kennedy told him not to go to Ford's Theatre, and Kennedy's secretary named Lincoln advised him not to go to Dallas. Both presidents were killed on a Friday. These are just some of the many similarities that these two presidents have.
