Gustav Elijah Ahr, or Lil Peep was an American rapper, singer, songwriter and model. He was born on November 1, 1996 in Allentown, Pennsylvania and raised on Long Island, New York. Lil Peep began releasing music on Soundcloud in 2014, he used the name Lil Peep since his mom called him Peep for all of his childhood. Sadly, it was after his death when his music truly blew up. Some of his songs even ended up on the top one hundred on hundreds of music streaming sites. But also luckily due to Peeps prolific work rate, a number of his songs and projects were completed before his death.
Later during March, 2018, Peeps music archive was acquired by Columbia Records. Later the song "Falling Down" came out, where Lil Peep and XXXtentacion had collaborated, the song had been made for following Peeps death. People such as Post Malone, Lil Xan, Lil Pump, and many others have made songs as tributes for his death. I myself and many others still listen to his music today. Some of the songs that I personally enjoy myself are "16 Lines" and a few others that I can't seem to remember the name of.
