Free Agency Frenzy By: Timothy Brown

The NFL season is over and that means that the free agency is starting.

All the NFL teams have a certain amount of money that they get to spend on players. They can choose to either sign different players or use that money to resign their own players. Free agency lasts for four weeks then the draft comes. The players become free agents when their contracts expire and their team doesn't resign them. If a player isn't signed by the end of the four weeks they will be able to be signed when the season starts. The players can choose any offer they want. The biggest free agents this season was RB Le'veon Bell and Tevin Coleman, safeties Earl Thomas, Landon Collins, and Tyrann Mathieu, LB C.J Mosley, and edge rushers Za'Darius Smith and Justin Houston. Defensive tackle Malik Jackson signed with the Philadelphia Eagles.
