As soon has Apex came out, they brought in more than 50 million players in the first month.
Apex is a completely different game then all the other battle royales. They may have taken some inspiration from some of the big battle royales like PUBG and Fortnite but they still made a game that everyone loves. Games like Fortnite are even copying the game Apex by bringing in their own ping system and respawn vans. Apex was the very first battle royale to add in the respawn system so that's why Fortnite decided they should had their own.
