Association football, more commonly known as football or soccer, is a team sport played with a spherical ball between two teams of eleven players. It is played by 250 million players in over 200 countries and dependencies, making it the world's most popular sport.There are 4 defense players on each team. There are 2 goalies one on each net. Soccer is called football in some countries like Australia. Some of the rules are, you can not use your hands, when you throw the ball in your feet can not come off the ground. The object of the game is to get the ball in the net and try to keep/get the ball away from the other team. You can't push and shove other players. For some teams you have to have a specific size of ball. you also need long socks to go over your shin guards.
