Rosa Parks is an american activist in the civil rights movement. Rosa Parks is the first lady of civil rights. She was born on February, 4, 1913 in Tuskegee, Alabama. She died in October, 24, 2005 in Detroit Michigan. Rosa Parks has one sibling. She has a brother his name is Sylvester McCauley. Her parents names are Leona McCauley and James McCauley. Rosa parks was 42 when she was on the bus. On Thursday December 1, 1955 Rosa Parks went to get on the bus after a long day at work as a seamstress. She went to sit down and there was no seats for the blacks so she sat in a seat reserved for white people and then a white person got on the bus and needed the seat and she refused to get out of her seat. She did not end up getting up and she got put in jail.
