In my opinion, baby leopards are very cute! Baby leopards eat small meals such as, gazelle, impala, deer, and wild beast. Sometimes they will eat monkey, rodents, and birds.When they kill an animal they take it up a tree branch and eat it. A baby leopard weighs somewhere between 77 pounds and 121 pounds. When a baby leopard gets to about 2 years old they are nearly 100 pounds. A baby leopard is called a cub. A leopard's kingdom is the Animalia. Leopards can run up to about 36 miles per hour. A leopards life span is 12-17 years. During the day leopards are resting in a tree and then at night they are very active searching for food, running around, etc. They usually prefer to hunt for their food at nighttime. Female leopards can give birth to up to 2-3 cubs at a time. The leopards spotted fur can also help them hunt because it blends in with the tree. Usually by the time a leopard turns 2 years old they leave their mom and is off on their own. You can most likely find leopards in Africa and Asia. Leopards live in mountains, forests, grasslands, and deserts. When leopards are born they have depend on their mothers because they are blind. About ten or more days the leopards eyes began to open. Leopards can jump up to 20 feet which is also 3 adults laying down head to toe! There are many types of leopard species. The species of the leopards is, the African leopard, the Amur leopard, the Persian leopard, the Arabian leopard, the Indian leopard, the Javan leopard, the North-Chinese leopard, the Anatolian leopard, the Indochinese leopard, the Sri Lankan leopard, and the Sinai leopard. The Cheetah and the leopard have some things in common such as they are both felines, they both look like humongous cats.

A leopards scientific name is Panthera pardus. Leopards are a light color with spots. Leopard spots are called rosettes because their spots look like roses. Leopards are hard to find out in the wild.
