Dan + Shay do country songs. Dan Smyers was born August 16, 1987. Raised in Wexford, Pennsylvania. Also wen't to school at North Allegheny Senior High School. He wen't to collage at Carnegie Mellon University to play football and study finances. James Shay was born December 27, 1991. Raised in Natural Dam, Arkansas. He wen't to school at Union Christian Academy and Van Buren High School. He wen't to collage at Valley Forge Christian for one year so, he could work on his music career.
Dan + Shay's first album together was April 1, 2014. Their first album had three songs. When their album became a hit they kept making songs together. In all they have four album's but, they have a lot of songs in each album. Their first album was the album with the least songs out of all their album's.
Dan + Shay to tours and preform at concerts. I personally love them they are one of the best country singers.
